Simple Relationship Truths We Often Forget

All successful relationships require some work. – They don’t just happen, or maintain themselves.  They exist and thrive when the parties involved take the risk of sharing.

Most of the time you get what you put in. – If you want love, give love.

You shouldn’t have to fight for a spot in someone’s life. – Never force someone to make a space in their life for you.

There is a purpose for everyone you meet:- Some people will test you, some will use you, and some will teach you; but most importantly some will bring out the best in you.

You are in full control of your own happiness. – If your relationship with yourself isn’t working, don’t expect your other relationships to be any different.

Forgiving others helps YOU. – Forgiveness is not saying, “What you did to me is okay.”

You can’t change people; they can only change themselves. – Instead of trying to change others, give them your support and lead by example.

Heated arguments are a waste of time. – The less time you spend arguing with the people who hurt you, the more time you’ll have to love the people who love you.

You are better off without some people. – When you have to start compromising yourself and your morals for the people around you, it’s probably time to change the people around you.

Small gestures of kindness go a long way. – Honor your important relationships in some way every chance you get.

Even the best relationships don’t last forever. – People don’t live forever.

3 Different Ways To Turn Your Affair Into True Love

1. Only 1 in 10 affairs lead to a long-term relationship.

2. You don’t know what it is like to be married to her until you’re married to her.

3. Your family members- particularly your daughter - will never forgive you for your affair.

The odds are against you

Try to know the facts. The statistical facts aware you that your affair may not last for a long time and transform into a long-term relationship. According to a research, only 1 in 10 affairs lead to a long-term relationship. Off course, only 10 % affairs are eternal which means there is only 10 % chance that you and your loving partner will stay for a long period of time.

It's not reality

There are some men who leave their career, homes, children and everything else for the hot lady or babe. These types of men need counseling because they have jumped into the fire from a fryinf pan. Extramarital affairs are bad solutions for a failing married life.

Your children won't approve

You should know the fact that your affair can't remain a secret from your kids. There will be a time when they figure it out. When your children get old enough and become able to understand that you have left their mother just for another woman, they start to feel that you haven’t only left their mother but also the family.

Valentine's Day Special on 14 Feb 2012

Valentine's Day is a celebration of love and lovers. The roots of Valentine's Day goes back to ancient times, when people paid honor to the Roman God of Fertility. This was known as the Feast of Lupercalia, and was celebrated even then on February 14th.

The traditions of Valentine's Day are broad and many. It is a time to exchange cards or small gifts. Chocolates and jewelry are the big hits of this holiday as is romantic dinners.

The Legend of St. Valentine

The history of Valentine's Day--and the story of its patron saint--is shrouded in mystery. We do know that February has long been celebrated as a month of romance, and that St. Valentine's Day, as we know it today, contains vestiges of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. But who was Saint Valentine, and how did he become associated with this ancient rite?

Origins of Valentine's Day: A Pagan Festival in February

While some believe that Valentine's Day is celebrated in the middle of February to commemorate the anniversary of Valentine's death or burial--which probably occurred around A.D. 270--others claim that the Christian church may have decided to place St. Valentine's feast day in the middle of February in an effort to "Christianize" the pagan celebration of Lupercalia. Celebrated at the ides of February, or February 15, Lupercalia was a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture, as well as to the Roman founders Romulus and Remus.

Valentine's Day: A Day of Romance

Lupercalia survived the initial rise of Christianity and but was outlawed—as it was deemed “un-Christian”--at the end of the 5th century, when Pope Gelasius declared February 14 St. Valentine's Day. It was not until much later, however, that the day became definitively associated with love. During the Middle Ages, it was commonly believed in France and England that February 14 was the beginning of birds' mating season, which added to the idea that the middle of Valentine's Day should be a day for romance.

Typical Valentine's Day Greetings

In addition to the United States, Valentine's Day is celebrated in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France and Australia. In Great Britain, Valentine's Day began to be popularly celebrated around the 17th century. By the middle of the 18th, it was common for friends and lovers of all social classes to exchange small tokens of affection or handwritten notes, and by 1900 printed cards began to replace written letters due to improvements in printing technology. Ready-made cards were an easy way for people to express their emotions in a time when direct expression of one's feelings was discouraged. Cheaper postage rates also contributed to an increase in the popularity of sending Valentine's Day greetings.

If Your asking if I’ll Leave U the answer is Never

Na jane ki aapki yaad aati hai
Hontho per aapki hi baat aati hai

Yaad bas wahi pehli mulakat aati hai

Ke mein apna har wada nibhaunga
Ager ho jaye koi khata to maaf kar dena
Warna kasam se mein jee nahi paunga

Show me the money, honey: Valentine’s Day turns into a multicrore grosser

When singer Jennifer Lopez sang, ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’, she certainly wasn’t counting in the fact that the business of love, celebrating the humble day of love – the Valentine’s Day - is worth more than `12,000 crore. Yes, this is the figure estimated by a survey conducted by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) in the year 2010-11.

And no one — not even if you are against it — remains untouched by it. So right from the newspaper advertisements to your roadside florist, to the discount posters in your favourite shopping hotspot, to the malls, the restaurants and the parks – every place partakes of this big and expensive love cake.

The Valentine’s Week, as many youngsters in the city would know, began on Tuesday with the Rose Day. It will be followed by the Proposal Day on February 8, the Chocolate Day on February 9, the Teddy Day on February 10, the Promise Day on February 11, the Kiss Day on February 12, the Hug Day on February 13, and finally the much-celebrated and hyped the Valentine’s Day on February 14.

The study, compiled after an interaction with 1,200 people, including professionals and students from schools and colleges, concluded that those in love are ready to spend anywhere between `5,000 and `1,50,000 to celebrate the Valentine’s Day.

Happy propose day on 8 feb 2012 messages and quotes

Happy propose day

Bure halato mai koi mausam pyara nahi hota,
Agar dil ho pyasa to pani se shara nahi hota.
Koi to ho esa jo dekhe or samjhe meri bebasi,
Mai to sab ka ho jata hu par koi mera nahi hota.

Happy propose day 2012 to you all!!

Mujhe har safar per tere sath chahiye
Tanha hai mera hath tera hath chahiye
Tu bheeg jaye mere ishq ke junoon mein

To pyar karke dekho khud jaan jaogey

`
Girl to the boy: Janu mujhe ese propose karo jaise aaj tak kisi ne bhi kisi ko propose na kiya ho.Boy: kutiya kamini hramjadi I love you so much. Tu mujh se shadi kar ke barbad kar de mujhe.

Little things that count in a relationship

Ask any man who has been in a relationship and he is sure to tell you that more than the expensive dates and costly gifts, the small gestures and little things made all the difference. To sustain anyrelationship you don’t need a pocket full of money.
1. 1. A good-morning / good-night text
You can make your girl’s day by sending her a lovie-dovie ‘good morning’ text. Nothing makes a girl happier than waking up to a lovely message that wishes her a great day ahead. In case you missed the opportunity to text her in the morning, don’t worry.

2. Drop her home safely

When I make the above point I don't expect you to become her personal chauffeur. What you are expected to be is gentleman who drops his girl home after a date or at least offers to do so.

3. Be her confidante

One of the most precious facets of a relationship is the ability to share and talk random stuff. Listen and accept your partner’s secrets (be it the heavy and serious ones or the outright dumb and funny ones) and become her confidante.

4. Remember dates

Women have a huge problem with a man’s inability to remember dates. You must avoid pissing her off by making an attempt to remember the dates that matter.

Anxiety affects friendships

While growing from childhood to adolescence, children rely on close ties with their peers but if they are withdrawn they miss out on the support that such friendships provide, new research shows. The study is based on peer relationships of almost 2,500 fifth graders who are socially withdrawn and those who are not withdrawn.

It was conducted by researchers from Arizona State University as part of the Pathways Project, an investigation of children's social, psychological, and scholastic adjustment in school, the journal Child Development reports.

Socially withdrawn kids classified as 'anxious-solitary' want to interact with peers but the prospect triggers anxiety, according to an Arizona statement.

LIVE-IN COUPLES SPLIT AFTER MARRIAGE

Couples who live together before they get married are less likely to stay married, according to a report.

The UK-based Christian think-tank Jubilee Centre said that living together had become `a more fragile state of relationship than ever before`. It said that couples who cohabited before marriage were 45 per cent more likely to split than those who waited until after the wedding.

The think-tank also discovered that more couples are cohabiting than ever before - with the average time living together before tying the knot doubling to three-and-a-half years in the past four decades.

"Despite the popularity of cohabitation and its relationship to marriage, it is also the case that marriages that start with a period of prior cohabitation are significantly more prone to divorce than those that do not," the Daily Mail quoted Dr John Hayward and Dr Guy Brandon as saying in the report. "Where there has been a previous cohabitation with a separate person by one of both partners, the likelihood of divorce soars," they added.
