Talking about the thermal plants, the chowks, the colleges, the malls — no, these are not the topics for a Bathinda politico’s speech, but the topics that have been touched upon by a young singer in his song, “Yaaran Da Bathinda.”
Balkaran Singh, all of 20 years of age and a second year student of the city's Government Rajindra College, has created a song to popularise the city. Interestingly, Karan, as he is popularly known in his friend circle, is not a resident of Bathinda, but of Burj Mehma, a place 15 km away from the city.
