Vacancies for general category candidates reserved
The department of Rural Development and Panchayat Department (RDRP) advertised eight vacancies for the general category candidates for the posts of rural veterinary officers (RVOs) and cancelled the vacancies at the last moment.
Drawing ire from the 19 general category candidates, who appeared for the station allotment procedure held on December 21 at Bathinda, the department declared that all the eight seats have been converted into reserved ones. A total of 139 posts of RVOs were advertised all over the state.
