Keeping in view the large number of tourists from England and other Europian countries visiting Punjab and particularly this holy city, the British Midland International Airline (BMI) has decided to connect Amritsar to London from October 14.
The BMI is launching a tri-weekly flight which will be the only direct air service available from Punjab to Britain. It would offer onward connecting options within the island nation, besides onward trips to North Atlantic from London on its sister airlines.
