Two girls allegedly burnt their 55-year-old father to death for imposing “undue restrictions” on them and for often thrashing them. The incident occurred in the intervening night of April 11-12 but a case was registered only today.
Sources said Baldev Singh was sleeping in the courtyard of his house when his daughters Devinder Kaur (22) and Shinder Kaur (20) poured kerosene on him and set him ablaze.When he raised an alarm and shouted for help, they pushed him inside a room and set the room on fire.
