Sikh jatha to celebrate Baisakhi in Pakistan


The SGPC will send a group of Sikh devotees to pay obeisance on the occasion of Baisakhi at historic gurdwaras in Pakistan on April 11.

SGPC Secretary Dalmegh Singh Khatra today said that SGPC Executive Committee member Rampal Singh Bahniwali would lead the jatha. He said that passports of the pilgrims had been submitted at the Pakistan Embassy in New Delhi.
 It was learnt that the External Affairs Ministries of India and Pakistan had not issued visas to some of the members of the jatha, adding that the names of these persons were yet to be informed.
