Honey Singh was born in Delhi and later was raised in Punjab.He was born on March, 15th, 1984.Honey Singh is a rapper and Punjabi\Bhangra Music Producer. He started as a Session and Recording artist early in his career, but was able to build a reputation as a bhangra producer with fresh ideas and concepts.


Honey Singh is currently considered one of the most influential persons in North India especially among youths.

Highly influenced by the likes of legends such as Dr. Dre, Ludacris, Bob Marley, and James Brown, Honey Singh broke barriers by introducing genuine punjabi rap into the music industry. His other influences came from the greatest legends i.e. Chamkila, Kuldeep Manak, Malkit Singh, and Apache Indian.

Some of his hit songs include Dope Shope , Angreji Beat , Chaska , Hummer , Haye Mera Dil , Panga (ft. Diljit), Dil Nachda, Thekea te nit Kharke, Chaska, Banjare, Lakk 28 Zanjeer and many more.

He was born in Delhi and raised in Punjab. While in the UK, he studied music at the prestigious School of Trinity. A Music Director,rapper and mixer, albums like Peshi, Bollywood Rebirth. Spending seven years in the music Industry, he has bagged the PTC award for the Best sound in 2006 for Glassi and the PTC award for the Best Folk Pop Award 2009 for Rebirth and PTC PUNJABI Best Music Director 2011.



He has had great success over the years and has a new album called "International Villager". Which has the following really good song in it. Angreji Beat by Gippy Grewal and Honey Singh, Brown Rang in which its Honey Singh himself singing and rapping, he has a lot of other songs in the International Villager.

Pop singer Dobie Gray dead in Nashville at age 69


Dobie Gray, a smooth balladeer who recorded the timeless hit “Drift Away” in 1973, is dead at age 69.
Charlie Andrews, Gray’s attorney and friend, said Wednesday that Gray died at his Nashville home in his sleep early Tuesday after being in declining health for several months. The death also was reported on the singer’s web site.
“Drift Away” also was recorded by rap artist Uncle Kracker in 2003 and became a hit again.
Gray’s silky tenor also was heard on other hits including “The In Crowd” in 1965 and “Loving Arms” in 1973. His songs received radio airplay on several formats including Top 40, country, AOR and adult contemporary.
He toured extensively in Europe, Australia and Africa, and insisted on performing for integrated audiences in South Africa, according to his web site. After that declaration, he became especially popular in South Africa.
“I guess what you call my ‘signature songs’ will never die, thank God,” he told The Tennessean newspaper in 1988. At the time, he was the only major black vocalist to call Nashville home.
He also was a songwriter, with compositions recorded by an array of artists including Ray Charles, Johnny Mathis, Etta James, Three Dog Night, Julio Iglesias and John Denver.
