Apparently upset over alleged ‘derogatory’ remarks on Hindu deities in a forthcoming Bollywood film, Oh My God, Punjab Pradesh Mahila Congress vice-president, Nimisha Mehta, led a delegation to deputy commissioner Priyank Bharti in protest and demanded a ban on the screening of the film.
The film releases this Friday and stars Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. The memorandum pointed out several scenes and dialogues that the delegation claimed could hurt the sanctity of Hindu deities.
