Eminent philanthropist and social worker Karam Singh, father of Channel 2 Director-cum-Chief Editor Tajinder Singh, passed away after a brief illness at Ludhiana last night.
He was 88 and is survived by three sons and two daughters. Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and DeputyChief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Dr Karam Singh.
The Chief Minister also conveyed his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to give strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss and grant peace to the departed soul.
