Referring to yesterday’s decision of the Punjab government offering to return the 91 acres of land of the Gobindpura farmers who are resisting its acquisition and for which Congress has launched and mass agitation, Capt Amarinder remarked, this does not solve the problem. “Rather this is a characteristic Badal style of running away from the problem, he said, while asking Mr Badal as what had he thought about those farmers who had been tricked into accepting the compensation which was far too less than the market price.
