The Boston Police investigating the murder of Indian student K Seshadri Rao at Allston neighbourhood of Boston University on Sunday said it had good leads in the case.
Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said, “We have developed some good leads in the case. It is too early to say that it was a hate crime and till now there is no proof that the Indian student K Seshadri Rao was dragged from his hostel and killed. The motive of the murder is still under investigation.”
24-year-old K Seshadri Rao, who hailed from Odisha, was reportedly shot in the leg and head on April 19.
