The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) urged the Election Commission (EC) of India to take strict action against Manpreet Singh Badal for allegedly issuing false and misleading advertisements in the form of paid news in a vernacular daily. A written complaint in this regard was filed by SAD Secretary and Spokesman Dr Daljit Singh Cheema to the EC.
In a statement, Cheema said that “this corrupt and unethical move of Manpreet Badal of issuing misleading advertisements in the form of paid news.
